Dr. Donyea Hargrove

Dr. Donyea Hargrove is a passionate leader and higher education expert with over twenty years of experience in guiding others. A proud two-time graduate of Alcorn State University, he earned his PhD from the Executive PhD program at Jackson State University, where he focused on urban higher education leadership.

In his role as CEO of Mad Consulting Group, Dr. Hargrove is deeply committed to positively impacting students’ lives, one individual at a time. Additionally, he is the founder and lead pastor of A Different World Church, serving communities in Jackson, MS, and Dallas, TX.

Furthermore, Dr. Hargrove is in great demand as a speaker and has a profound connection with audiences through his insightful thinking and his fervent advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. His strong devotion to constructing inclusive domains has earned him a very respected voice in the field. By working constantly, he persists in influencing the lives of students and educators alike as he helps to build the course for future leaders in higher education.
